This assessment is meticulously designed to evaluate all the core competencies necessary for grooming excellence, including washing and drying techniques, clipper skills, pet style knowledge, scissor skills, and—most importantly—compassionate handling.

Duration and Cost
Each session will be run over half a day at our dedicated training facility in Durbanville.
To ensure efficient and thorough assessments, a maximum of 4 candidates per session will be assessed at a time.
Employers will be provided with detailed feedback for each potential candidate, along with personalised recommendations for which Groomingtons Academy courses or workshops would be suitable to fill any identified gaps in skills.
The assessments are R1,750 per potential candidate.
